Diagnostic characters: Shiny black, densely and finely pilose. Scutellum with ered near the apex with spots on mid-lateral margins and on apex tip. Fronto-clypeus characteristically wrinkled. Male genitalia with strongly hooked style apex. Distribution: India : Assam , Maharashtra and West Bengal . Elsewhere: Myanmar and Mergui Archipelago. Remark: First record to the state.
