Chloebora grossa (Saussure, 1884) Diagnostic characters: Large sized insect with nearly round eyes, Median carina well developed but lateral carinae show slight presence in metazona, tegmina membranous at apical one third part, hind wing membranous and bears a complete fascia midway, hind tibia is markedly shorter than femur. Material examined: 1 male , 1 female , 13.vi.2009 , on grasses of Chand Tan Shahid Pir, Sasaram, Rohtas Morphometry: (length in mm). Male: Body 35.6, Tegmina 27.45, Hind femur 14.2, Pronotum 6.55. Female: Body 51.4, Tegmina 39.5, Hind femur 22.5, Pronotum 9.4. Remarks: It shows its presence in forest areas in and around bushes and exhibits good camouflage with the surrounding rocks. Natural enemies: No natural enemies have been recorded. Distribution: Bihar , Tamil Nadu .
