Zele longicauda Curtis, 1832 is apparently a synonym of a species of Eubazus (van Achterberg, pers. comm.). species of Zele excluded from the British and Irish list: [annulicrus (Thomson, 1895, Meteorus )] Included in Huddleston's ( Huddleston 1978 ) checklist but we can trace no specimens or literature citations.
