Frons smooth, not or barely rugose near eye, surface punctulate. Occiput smooth, punctulate. Pronotum quadrate with lateral margins basally shallowly emarginated, hind angles slightly toothed; base densely microrugose. Elytra broad and short, much broader than width of pronotum across anterior third, and with 3 well-impressed interneurs, others shallower toward margin; margins behind humeri shallowly serrulate.
