The holotype of this species is now considered to be lost (Rajmohana Keloth, personal communication), and thus designation of a neotype is needed to fully stabilize the name. We refrain from doing so because the reared specimens that we have on hand were collected in Pakistan, sufficiently far from New Delhi to not be considered from the same area, and the specimen from New Delhi that we do have is a male.
