<paragraph pageId="3" pageNumber="4">Globose shell thin, transparent, too small to accommodate body completely; shell 15 mm, living animal up to 25 mm. Body pale green with large and small orange spots, part contained within the shell much darker green than both head and tail. Larger orange spots and patches underlying shell outlined with white or very pale green.</paragraph>

Infrequently, huge mating congregations are observed, with numbers of up to 100 individuals per m2 in February 2007 in La

Fringe on pronotal margins is regular and dense; the longest cylindrical bristles may reach 8.9% of pronotal width length. The outer femur margin bears cylindrical bristles in regular arrangement. The posterior tergal margins feature conspicuous pair of long cylindrical bristles attaining 8082% of the segment length on terga 5¯6. Cerci have uniform setation, intercalary setation reduced: in apical whorl of basal segments the length of cylindrical bristles reaches 170% of segments length; in the middle part of cerci the length of bristles decreases about 97% of segment length; length few thin hairs about 46% of segment length of apical cercal segments.

These spines probably were overlooked in the original description. Presence of such spines at the outer edge of the apical sclerite base in the Asian

Head (except for clypeus and mandibles), mesosoma and metasoma (dorsally) dark brown to black; laterotergites, sternites and hypopygium partially yellow, partially dark brown; antennal flagellomeres dark brown; tegula and wing base white-yellow; pterostigma mostly brown (with small pale spot on proximal 0.1); legs mostly white-yellow except for metacoxa (black on proximal 0.7, white-yellow on distal 0.3), metafemur (distal 0.1 dorsally brown), metatibia (distal 0.7 dark brown), and metatarsus (dark brown). Body ratios. Flagellomere 2 length/width: 3.1 x. Flagellomere 14 length/width: 1.3 x. Malar line/mandible width: 1.1 x. Metafemur length/width: 3.6 x. Metatibial inner/outer spur length: 1.2 x.
