Lateral surface also with a small bulge distal to the large bulge, bearing similar rows of spines. Medial and anterior surfaces glabrous, and an anteromedial lobiform antennal appendage present. Antennal appendage directed anteroventrally, bearing dense transverse rows of spines.</paragraph>

Medial margin bearing a medially directed spiniform projection and situated at approximately the middle of the length of the antennomere. Apex truncate.</paragraph>

Eleven pairs of thoracopods, each thoracopod with two praeepipodites. Genital thoracic segments inflated ventrally and margined ventroposteriorly by a transverse ridge. Genitalia with basal portions parallel, directed posteriorly, and separated by three to four times their width. Rigid basal portions of penes subcylindrical, each bearing a small medial spine, a truncate lateral tubercle and a ventromedial, subtriangular lamellar projection. These projections separated distally, lying parallel, with the medioventral edge margined to the apex with cirri; ventral surface bearing a row of short setae starting medioproximally, progressing posteriorly, and arcing to the medial margin at midlength. Everted portions of penes directed laterally, widely separated, minute, subcylindrical with apex digitiform and apparently lacking an apical spine. Thoracopods similar in form to those of
