Basal margin not bordered, in middle projecting into broad short truncate lobe concealing basal portion of scutellar shield, at sides broadly arcuate. Posterior angles obtusely rounded without well-defined tips. Surface of pronotum vaulted both longitudinally and transversely, punctate like frons. Scutellar shield large, subtriangular with rounded apex, punctate like pronotum.

Lateral margins finely bordered, not explanate, not visible simultaneously in their entirety (dorsal view). Surface strongly convex with distinct traces of rather irregular series of punctures; punctures almost equal in size to those of pronotum, within one series separated by more than one diameter. Interstries with smaller and widely spaced diffuse punctures. Interspaces feebly alutaceous.

Antennal furrows converging posteriad. Prosternum very short with sharp mediolongtudinal carina vanishing at distal end of prosternal process, coarsely and densely punctate. Apical margin of prosternal process blunt, subtruncate. Hypomera concave, indistinctly sparsely punctate, moderately shining, with raised sharp ridge nearly parallel to basal margin of pronotum. Mesoventrite roof-shaped, impunctate with fine mediolongitudinal carina. Mesocoxal axillary lines arcuate, running close to posterior margin of mesocoxal cavity. Metaventrite broadly and flatly transversely vaulted; its anterior intercoxal process broad, bordered, anterior margin shallowly concave, overlapping base of mesoventrite with anterior lateral angles somewhat prominent; posterior intercoxal margin truncate. Surface with punctures equal in size to eye-facets, separated by 1.01.5 diameters, interspaces obsoletely alutaceous. Discrimen absent. Metacoxal axillary lines arcuate, running close to posterior margin of metacoxal cavity. Abdominal ventrites punctate like metaventrite, punctures closer, mostly separated by less than one diameter (

Protibia ca. 2.5× longer than wide, subparallel-sided; outer subapical angle rectangular, outer margin densely denticulate, dorsal surface with dense and coarse punctures bearing semierect bristles, ventral surface with irregular longitudinal series of minute spines. Protarsomeres IIII 0.75× the width of protibia, V as long as IIV combined. Meso- and metafemur broadly oval, 2.00× and 1.85× longer than wide respectively. Meso- and metatibia almost 3× longer than wide, in basal third abruptly dilated distally, then almost parallel-sided. Tarsal claws simple.

Clypeus separately vaulted, at base separated from antennal insertions by deep perpendicular furrows, anterior margin subtrapezoidal, surface with very small and widely separated punctures, interspaces smooth and shining. ). Antennae somewhat shorter than width of head across eyes, antennal club oblong, obovate, occupying ca 0.4 antennal length, 1.5× longer than wide, widest at base of antennomere XI. Scape almost semicircular, its anterior (dorsal) side with two sharp parallel longitudinal edges, between them canaliculate. Pedicel twice, antennomere III 1.66× as long as wide, antennomeres IV, VI and VII nearly as long as wide, V slightly longer than neighbouring ones.

transverse, convex both transversely and (less so) longitudinally, widest at posterior angles and strongly curved anteriad. Ratio WPR1/WPR3 =1.91, WPR2/LEPR = 1.82. Anterior margin with trapezoidal emargination, arcuate, not bordered; anterior angles obtusely rounded. Lateral margins broadly arcuate, in posterior half subrectilinear (vertical view), finely bordered, not explanate. Basal margin not bordered, with broad truncate lobe opposing scutellar shield, besides it broadly arcuate. Posterior angles obtuse. Punctures equal in size to those of frons, separated by more than one diameter; interspaces smooth and shining, with sparsely intermixed microscopic punctures bearing short indistinct rudimentary setae. Scutellar shield subtriangular, partly concealed by basal lobe of pronotum, punctate more densely than pronotum.

Surface of elytra seriate punctate, punctures in series nearly equal in size to those of pronotum, neighbouring punctures in one series separated by ca. one diameter, punctures on interstries diffuse, of somewhat variable size, but generally smaller and sparser than those in series. Sutural lines absent.

Metaventrite flatly convex, in posterior half with punctures nearly equal to eye-facets and separated by 1.01.5 diameters, becoming larger and closer laterally and finer in anterior half; interspaces smooth and shining. Diverticulum absent. Mesocoxal axillary lines reaching metasternopleural suture at ca. one third of its length. Abdominal ventrites with larger punctures separated by one diameter or less. Metacoxal axillary lines closely bordering posterior margin of coxal cavities.

Mesofemur subtrapezoidal, 1.74× longer than wide. Metafemur almost oval, posterior margin in basal half rectilinear, 1.93× longer than wide. Tarsal claws simple.

transverse, eyes on small conical protuberances, with sharp transverse edges between eye and antenna insertion, temples rectilinear, converging posteriad. Vertex and lateral portions of frons feebly convex, median portion of frons between antennae markedly concave, anterior portion as well as clypeus almost horizontal and moderately transversely convex. Sides of frons besides eyes distinctly punctate, punctures almost equal in size to eye-facets, separated by one diameter or more, interspaces smooth and shining. Median portion as well as clypeus smooth and shining with very fine and widely spaced punctures. Anterior margin of clypeus subtruncate, not bordered. Labrum transverse, anterior margin arcuate laterally, subtruncate in middle without distinct incision. Mandibles arcuately dilated laterally with sharp, raised angulate dorsal edge and large, shallowly concave face against eye (

). Antennae as long as width of head across eyes (ratio HEAW/ANLE = 1.00); club oblong oval. Scapus almost 3× wider than pedicel, 1.375× longer than wide, widest at base and subrectangular, gradually narrowed distad, with arcuate sharp anterior margin and well defined shallow anteocular concavity on posterior face. Pedicel length/width = 4/3, hardly wider than following antennomeres. Antennomere III ca. twice as long as wide, IV ca. as long as wide, its anterior side angulate, V 1.33× longer than wide, VI and VII as long as wide, VIII transverse. Ratio ANCL/ANCW = 1.78, antennomere XI nearly as long as IX + X combined, X lunular, shorter than neighbouring ones; ratio ANLE/ANCL = 2.60.

transverse, strongly transversely convex, widest at posterior angles and strongly arcuately narrowed anteriad. Anterior margin deeply trapezoidally emarginate, indistinctly bordered. Anterior angles broad, prominent, obtuse with more or less rounded tips. Lateral margins broadly arcuate, not explanate, finely bordered, visible simultaneously from above in their entirety. Prosternum short with sharp mediolongitudinal carina gradually vanishing on prosternal process; punctures fairly twice as large as eye-facets, flat, separated by less than one diameter, interspaces shining. Prosternal process with blunt arcuate apical margin behind procoxae, its apical wall convex, obliquely sloping dorsad, with subtruncate apical margin. Hypomera broad, concave, impunctate, smooth and shining, postcoxal pieces punctate like prosternum. Mesoventrite situated markedly lower than metaventrite (ventral view), transversely convex, mediolongitudinally carinate. Anterior portion of mesepisternum (prepectus) flat, indistinctly punctate, alutaceous, dull; posterior portion concave, punctate like mesoventrite, shining. Mesocoxal axillary lines in median half transverse, running near posterior margins of mesocoxal cavities, their outer recurrent portion arcuate, meeting metasternopleural suture before its mid-length. Metaventrite almost flat except for large concavities in front of metacoxae, its anterior intercoxal margin concave, extending over intercoxal piece of mesoventrite, posterior intercoxal margin truncate. Discrimen absent. Punctures in median portion indistinct, very fine and widely spaced, becoming larger laterally, at sides fairly equal in size to eye-facets and separated by nearly one diameter. Metacoxal axillary lines running close to posterior margins of metacoxal cavity all along its length, axillary space not developed. Mesofemur broad (length/width= 45/25), its posterior margin almost rectilinear, in ca. 2/3 of its length abruptly curved and then again as subrectilinear running towards distal end of femur. Mesotibia 2.69× longer than wide, mesofemur 1.34× longer than mesotibia, subparallel-sided in two distal thirds, in basal third arcuately narrowed towards base. Metafemur 1.83× longer than wide, widest at two thirds of its length, its posterior margin in two basal thirds subrectilinear, in distal third arcuate.
