Adult (Fig. 7). Forewing length 3.5-4.5 mm, wing span 8.8-9.5 mm. Head pale grey, with a yellow shine. Antennae grey, not annulated, thicker in males than in females, flagellomeres

Thorax and forewings pale grey, fringes slightly paler, forewing scales with pale tips, hindwing scales of same colour as forewing scales. Male with one, female with two frenular bristles. Legs pale grey, subapical spurs of hindtibia before middle as seen from femur. Abdomen on upper and underside pale grey, spined terga from segment III to IV pale orange-brown.

Sternum VIII a membranous layer on the dorsal side of sternum VII, connected laterally with pleural lobes. Pleural lobes large, left one rectangular, rounded, right one bifid, with dorsally and ventrally directed, triangular parts, acute at tips in dorsal and lateral view. C1-2 ridged from epicentre of base to calicular margin, and C3-4 ridged only near calicular margin. Costae correspond with septa in width, with C1-2 equal in width and C3-4 becoming progressively narrower. Intercostal spaces moderately deep and granulated. Corallum white.</paragraph>

is the smallest and palest species in the genus. Forewing length is 15-17 mm in males and 17-19 mm in females. Both sexes have pale buffy-brown forewings with black defining a zigzagged antemedial line and a toothed postmedial line with dark shading and streaks in the outer half of the terminal area. In females usually there is a thin dark streak extending from the reniform spot to the postmedial line and, in extreme forms, from the antemedial line into the subterminal area. In both sexes the hindwing is translucent white with some buffy-brown shading on the terminal line. The male genitalia of

In the female genitalia the corpus bursae is gourd-shaped with a rounded membranous anterior part, and a long, narrow, almost neck-like posterior part with the surface rugose and sclerotized and the ductus seminalis arising dorsally at the posterior end.
