The subsquamosal foramen is narrow and elongated in adults, the hamular process is long, and the post-glenoid foramen is large (elongated). Incisive foramen rounded on the sides, with a drop shape. Mesopterygoid fossa extends beyond the plane of third upper molar, the roof sphenopalatine vacuities that ranged from small slits to slightly larger openings.
