Antennae elongate, as long as the body; head narrowed behind, eyes ovate and prominent, head before the eyes oblong-quadrate, with the clypeus rounded in front; palpi elongate, pale ferruginous. Thorax elongate; the pro-, meso- and metathorax divided by distinct sutures; the thorax flat above, the margins slightly raised, forming a sharp edge; the prothorax armed with two long, acute, stout, and slightly divergent spines; legs elongate, almost destitute of pubescence, having only a few short hairs on the tibiae and tarsi. Abdomen nearly globular; scale of the peduncle incrassate; viewed in front, it is oblong-quadrate, or slightly narrowed at the base, having at the lateral angles above a sharp acute spine.</paragraph>
