Microsculpture is also better developed in this species, with the vertex of head and the pronotal disc, including elevated portions between transverse wrinkles, covered with an evident transverse mesh. The elytral intervals bear evident isodiametric and slightly transversely stretched sculpticells arranged in an irregular, transverse pattern. Standardized body length 6.4-7.0 mm.

Kopf wenig schmäler als die Elytren, Stirn breit, Längsfurchen deutlich eingeschnitten, Mittelteil wenig schmäler als jedes der Seitenteile, deutlich, aber nur wenig erhoben, nicht ganz das Niveau der gewölbten Stirnseitenteile erreichend; Punktierung ziemlich grob und überall sehr dicht, mittlerer Punktdurchmesser etwa so gross wie der grösste Querschnitt des 3. Fühlergliedes, Punktabstände fast überall kleiner als die Punktradien. Fühler kurz, zurückgelegt bis ins hintere Pronotumdrittel reichend, vorletzte Glieder so lang wie breit. Pronotum gut so breit wie lang, in der Mitte am breitesten, von dort nach vorn fast gerade, nach hinten deutlich konkav verengt; in der Längsmitte wird ein kurzer Eindruck erkennbar, die Seiteneindrücke (in mittlerer Höhe) sind ebenfalls flach; die Punktierung ist deutlich gröber als auf der Stirn, ebenfalls sehr dicht, in der Nähe von Vorder- und Hinterrand kurz zusammenfliessend, der mittlere Punktdurchmesser ist so gross wie der apikale Querschnitt des 2. Fühlergliedes. Elytren subquadratisch, breiter als lang, Schultern eckig, Seiten wenig erweitert, Hinterrand breit und flach ausgerandet, kein deutlicher Eindruck vorhanden; die Punktierung ist noch gröber als am Pronotum, sehr dicht, aber getrennt, der mittlere Punktdurchmesser ist so gross wie der grösste Querschnitt des 2. Fühlergliedes, die Punktzwischenräume sind, bis auf wenige Partien neben der Naht, überall kleiner als die Punktradien. Das Abdomen ist nach hinten stark verengt, die Paratergite sind breit, aufgebogen, grob und sehr dicht punktiert, diejenigen des 4. Tergits so breit wie die Hinterschenkel an ihren Spitzen; die ungekielten Quereindrücke an den Basen der ersten Tergite sind ziemlich tief, das 7. Tergit trägt nur Reste eines apikalen Hautsaums; die Punktierung ist überall grob und dicht, auf den ersten Tergiten sind die Punktzwischenräume aber mehrfach grösser als die Punktradien (vgl.

); auch das 7. Tergit ist noch dicht punktiert, hier sind die Punkte gut so gross wie die Facetten am Innenrand der Augen, ihre Abstände meist deutlich kleiner als die Punkte. An den schlanken Beinen sind die ungelappten Hintertarsen 3/4 schienenlang, ihr 1. Glied ist so lang wie die beiden folgenden Glieder zusammengenommen, wenig länger als das Klauenglied. Die gesamte Oberseite ist sehr flach, manchmal fast erloschen, genetzt.
