Erect perennial, rather shrubby herb, to ca. 1 m tall.
<emphasis bold="true" italics="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="93">Stems</emphasis>
brown and woody, branched, quadrangular, internodes 2-3 cm apart, ca. 4 mm thick, glabrous.
<emphasis bold="true" italics="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="93">Leaves</emphasis>
: petiole slender, (2.5-)5.5-8 cm long, glabrous; lamina broadly elliptic to slightly ovate, 8.5-13.5
