One problem in classifying this genus is that the descriptions of some included species are too brief and mainly based on the dorsal view of body, thus more of differentiating characteristics were overlooked. Distinguishing characteristics are found in the combination of body dimensions; form, relative length and distance between of dorsal setae; form of sensillus; dorsal mascle sigillae and ridges.
