It is not possible to identify this specimen beyond the tribe (which is evident on the basis of the structure of maxillary palps), even though it is relatively well-preserved and not very small. However, important characters are obscured by exceptionally turbid amber surrounding the beetle and possibly only methods based on microtomography could reveal details useful to characterize the genus.
