This species is widely distributed in Western Africa, but it was also known to occur in

. This is the first record of the species from
<collectingCountry id="F323761BFF9BFFFC332D5D72FD2CFECD" box="[551,645,340,366]" name="Uganda" pageId="52" pageNumber="53">Uganda</collectingCountry>
, the easternmost occurrence of the species. The species might be widespread across equatorial Africa.
