. Shield longer than broad, smooth, slightly convex; rostrum triangular; anterior margins straight, between rostrum and lateral projections. Ocular peduncles slightly shorter than shield; scales with strong spine distally, occasionally bifid or trifid. Chelipeds unequal, left larger than right; both smooth, without setae. Ambulatory legs each with dactyl shorter than propodus; propodus of third pereopods with longitudinal furrow on dorsolateral region; merus of second pereopod flattened laterally; merus of third pereopod convex laterally. Telson approximately rectangular with left lobe slightly larger than right, each usually with 1 submarginal spine; lateral and terminal margins with long setae.
