|
|||
|
|
Colouration. Vertex light brown to brown anteriorly, pale to dark yellow posteriorly, with a whitish spot on anteorbital tubercles. Occiput whitish. Preocular sclerite brown to dark brown. Eyes red to dark red; ocelli hyaline. Gena anteriorly dark brown to black, laterally and ventrally white; genal processes white. Antenna light yellow, segments 1–2 brown to dark brown, segments 3–6 with dark apices becoming more extended towards apex, segments 7 to 10 dark brown to black. Clypeus yellow, slightly lighter in the middle and slightly darker along the edges; rostrum yellow with black tip. Thorax irregularly dark yellow and brown, pleura usually white, margins of sclerites darker. Pronotum light straw-coloured, brownish along anterior and lateral margins. Mesopraescutum lighter towards lateral and posterior margins, with a diffuse light straw-coloured longitudinal stripe medially. Mesoscutum with diffuse light straw-coloured longitudinal stripes: one medially, one submedially and two sublaterally, and a brown to dark brown longitudinal spot submedially. Mesoscutellum straw-coloured, slightly darker posteromedially. Metascutellum with two straw-coloured longitudinal stripes medially. Metapostnotum with a straw-coloured longitudinal stripe medially. Parapteron whitish. Forewing hyaline; veins light brown, slightly darker towards apex; pterostigma lighter than veins. Hindwing hyaline. Fore leg, mid leg and metafemur dark yellow to yellowish brown, with tarsi sometimes slightly darker; metatibia and metatarsi light straw-coloured. Abdomen light to medium brown; intersegmental membranes light straw-coloured; spiracular sclerites concolorous with tergites.
