Taxonomic notes. The species as illustrated by
<bibRefCitation pageId="63" pageNumber="94">Logvinenko and Starobogatov (1969)</bibRefCitation>
is based on a slender shell with highly convex whorls. The same traits are also typical for
<taxonomicName class="Gastropoda" family="Hydrobiidae" genus="Pyrgula" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Animalia" lsidName="Pyrgula astrachanica" order="Littorinimorpha" pageId="63" pageNumber="94" phylum="Mollusca" rank="species" species="astrachanica">Pyrgula astrachanica</taxonomicName>
; in fact, the type of
<taxonomicName lsidName="T. vinogradovi" pageId="63" pageNumber="94" rank="species" species="vinogradovi">T. vinogradovi</taxonomicName>
could be a juvenile of that species. Moreover, both of them might be synonyms of
<taxonomicName class="Gastropoda" family="Hydrobiidae" genus="Turricaspia" higherTaxonomySource="CoL" kingdom="Animalia" lsidName="Turricaspia nossovi" order="Littorinimorpha" pageId="63" pageNumber="94" phylum="Mollusca" rank="species" species="nossovi">Turricaspia nossovi</taxonomicName>
Kolesnikov, 1947. Since a part of the type material of the species involved is lacking and some of the taxa are based on incomplete or presumably juvenile specimens, the identities of
