Suprafrontal sulcus relatively deep, well recognized. Suprafrontal sulcus emarginate or obcordate. Ratio of width of frontal ridge to width of antennal socket: 2.00–2.10. Frons evenly covered with close punctures and short white setae. Vertex flat, situated at same level as orbit, densely and evenly covered with punctures.</paragraph>

Lateral margins of pronotum strongly convex with maximum width near base. Anterolateral prothoracic callosity poorly developed. Posterolateral prothoracic callosity not prominent. Diameter of pronotal punctures: 2 to 3 times smaller than distance between adjacent punctures.</paragraph>
