Members of this species are readily distinguished by the following combination of features: outer surface of meso- and metatibiae with numerous transverse ridges; eyes narrowly separated; much of ventral surface reddish, contrasting darker dorsal color; antennomere 11 yellow-red, exhibiting a distinct contrast to antennomeres 5-10.
