. Frontal plate sub-triangular, smooth, glabrous. Lateral area between frontal plate and base of antennal tubercles with deep fovea. Area between antennal tubercles and posterior edge of upper eye lobes moderately finely, sparsely punctate (slightly rugose between upper eye lobes), except smooth central area close to frontal plate; with short, very sparse, decumbent, yellowish setae. Remaining surface of vertex finely, shallowly, sparsely punctate (punctures closer, more conspicuous laterally close to prothoracic margin); with short, sparse, decumbent, yellowish setae. Area behind upper eye lobes coarsely punctate (punctures oblong, more abundant toward prothoracic margin); with short, yellowish, sparse, yellowish setae close to eye, interspersed with some long, erect setae. Area behind lower eye lobes tumid, smooth close to eye, finely, sparsely punctate toward prothoracic margin; with short, sparse, yellowish setae close to inferior side of eye. Genae, in dorsal view, distinctly acute at apex; moderately short (area between lower eye lobes and mandibles short); finely, sparsely punctate toward ventral side and dorsally close to eye, smooth toward apex dorsally; glabrous dorsally, with short, decumbent, sparse, yellowish setae ventrally. Antennal tubercles finely, sparsely punctate on base, smooth on apex and area near fovea; with short, sparse, yellowish setae. Coronal suture distinct from apex of frontal plate to near area between upper eye lobes. Postclypeus minutely, abundantly punctate on narrow area close to anteclypeus, finely, sparsely punctate laterally under frontal plate, smooth laterally; with short, decumbent, sparse, yellowish setae, laterally with one long, erect, yellowish seta near fovea. Labrum minutely, abundantly punctate on base, smooth toward apex; with short and long golden setae directed forward. Gula glabrous, smooth, except some transverse sulcus toward submentum. Submentum striate-punctate; with short, sub-erect, yellowish setae interspersed with long, erect setae (mainly laterally). Distance between upper eye lobes 0.70 times length of scape; distance between lower eye lobes in frontal view 0.85 times length of scape. Antennae 1.35 times elytral length, almost reaching elytral apex. Scape moderately coarsely, abundantly punctate dorsally on basal half, and laterally on basal 2/3, smooth dorsally on distal half and laterally on distal third; sparsely, shallowly punctate ventrally; with short, decumbent, sparse, yellowish setae dorsally and laterally (laterally with some long, erect setae), with distinctly long, erect, sparse, yellowish setae ventrally. Antennomeres IIIXI with short, decumbent, yellowish setae, interspersed with long, erect, yellowish setae (mainly ventrally; shorter, sparser toward distal segments). Apical spine of antennomere III slightly curved, acute at apex, with 0.75 times length of antennomere; apical spine of antennomere IV with 0.4 times length of antennomere; apical spine of antennomere V with 0.2 times length of antennomere; apical spine of antennomere VI with 0.25 times length of antennomere; apical spine of antennomere VII with 0.15 times length of scape; antennomere VIII with spicule at inner apex. Antennal formula (ratio) based on length of antennomere III (excluding spine): scape = 1.23; pedicel = 0.23; IV = 0.94; V = 1.07; VI = 1.00; VII = 1.23; VIII = 1.15; IX = 1.11; X = 1.03; XI = 1.34.
