species-groups, this group exhibits a strongly reduced mesometasternal process and a rounded pronotal basal margin. It is distinguished from these two other species-groups by the following: clypeus without denticles; tibial teeth strongly developed; antennal club longer in males; pronotum with a color pattern, body without cretaceous markings; and tarsal claws as long as or longer than last tarsomere (shorter than the last tarsomere in all other species in the genus).
