Notauli and median mesoscutal furrow smooth, with clear transverse carinae. Area between notauli and end of median mesoscutal sulcus slightly prominent in lateral view. Parascutal sulcus ending near anterior end of notauli, pubescent mostly anteriorly, with sharp coriaceous sculpture, weaker near basal part. Mesopleuron intensely coriaceous on ventral area and anterior 2/3, smooth or alutaceous on dorsoposterior area. Scutellum 1–1.3 times scutum length, sharply emarginate. Scutellar foveae rugose, scutellar pits shallow, large, conspicuous. Interfoveal carina prominent, continuing along scutellar disc until end of scutellar spine. Scutellar disc and spine coriaceous with very sharp longitudinal carinae with deep furrows between them. Scutellar disc straight in lateral view.
