We based the identification on morphometric and qualitative characters. The tail is relatively longer than the head and body. It differs from

</taxonomicName>
in having a less-developed tuft of the tail; the tuft is sometimes absent. The dorsal part of the tail is yellowish brown and its ventral part is light yellow. The sole of the hind feet is covered with hairs. The claws are white with a reddish upper part. The underbelly is white (Darvish 2009,
