Male: Body length 3.2 mm. Wing length 2.5 mm.
<emphasis bold="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="67134">Colouration</emphasis>
(Dry specimen). Head face and clypeus dark brown, almost black; labellum brown; palpus yellow. Antenna with scape and pedicel yellow; flagellum brown, basal half of first flagellomere yellow. Thorax with scutum dark brown, lateral margin pale brown; lateral sclerites and propleura brown; halteres whitish-yellow, apically slightly darker. Legs whitish-yellow. Abdomen dark brown, tergites II-III with slightly paler lateral area. Terminalia yellow.
<emphasis bold="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="67134">Head</emphasis>
. Frons and vertex covered with long pale brown setae. Clypeus covered with pale setae, evenly distributed; flagellomeres quadrate, with sixth flagellomere as long as broad.

. Scutum covered with long, pale brown setae.
<emphasis bold="true" pageId="0" pageNumber="67134">Legs</emphasis>
. Fore leg with tibia 0.76 times as long as first tarsomere. Mid-tibia with 17 anterior, 4 posterodorsal, 9 posterior and no posteroventral bristles. Hind tibia with 7-8 anterodorsal, 5 posterodorsal and 5 posterior bristles.
