This species was previously reported from Java, Sumatra,

where considerable variation in egg collar morphology was noted (

). This Vietnamese specimen appears to have a more prominent dorsobasal spine patch on the aedeagal sac, and the subapical spines also appear more prominent than shown for Malaysian specimens (
