. This species can be distinguished by the piceous spots on the posterior head and posterior eye, the piceous marks on the parapsidal suture, the straight ventral margin to the timbal cover, the sinuate posterior opercular margin, the lack of piceous pile on the abdominal tergites, the shorter pygofer basal lobes, the horn-like extensions of the lateral branch of the uncus, the female dorsal beak extending beyond the anal styles, and the ovipositor extending beyond the dorsal beak.
