<paragraph id="8B8936A3FF9F4773FF7DFA1FFB7BF98F" blockId="91.[240,1474,1479,1850]" pageId="91" pageNumber="190">DESCRIPTION. — Dark reddish on elytra and most of underside, darker on prothorax and head, with faint bluish sheen. Pubescence short, abundant, dark for most part, whitish on suture behind scutellum and on declivity, here directed obliquely outwards; lineal scales forming a white line on either side of pronotum.</paragraph>

Eyes round, separated on frons by less than width of scape. Rostrum 0.9 x length of prothorax, 2.3 x longer than wide at apex; lower edge distinctly curved downwards at apex; postrostrum tectiform, with rather coarse punctation, this largely contained in two sulci; prorostrum as long as wide, nearly smooth. Scape extending to middle of eyes, moderately curved, compressed.</paragraph>

<paragraph id="8B8936A3FF9F4774FE9FF927FD43FEEF" blockId="91.[240,1474,1479,1850]" lastBlockId="92.[212,1444,266,533]" lastPageId="92" lastPageNumber="191" pageId="91" pageNumber="190">Elytra at shoulders 1.46 x wider than prothorax, 1.50 x longer than combined width, slightly widening towards middle, then rounded off to a broad apex; in lateral view moderately convex beyond basal quarter. Striae more or less complete, stria 10 at base with five coarse puncta continued apicad as a fine engraved line. First two interstriae with no more than 2 rows of fine puncta.</paragraph>

Fore femora with an extremely small tooth, other femora with a larger tooth. Tibiae relatively slender, fore tibiae 7.5 x longer than wide at middle.</paragraph>
