. Head with compound eyes slightly narrower than pronotum. Compound eyes huge, bulging; ommatidia huge and equal in size. Pronotum widest in mid line; in form of massive band arcuately curved at anterior with margin acutely protruded, posterior margin arcuately incised, lateral portions slightly widened, directed to posterior. Mesothorax as wide as pronotum; mesopraescutum distinctly separated, anterior margin slightly incised in median portion, resulting in heart-shaped form, posterior angle and posterior margins distinctly indicated, not fused with mesoscutum. Mesoscutum V-shaped, with arms of similar width, posterior margin in median portion arcuate, with shallow median incision. Mesoscutellum developed as narrow band, with lateral portions slightly directed anteriad. Tegulae oval. Metathoracic plates similar in form to mesothoracic, metascutum in median portion strongly narrowed, median incision widely arcuate. Metascutellum with anteromedian portion distinct, arcuately directed at anterior. Fore wing 2.5 × as long as wide, widest at ½ of its base. All margins covered with minute tubercles lacking setae. Costal margin strongly curved, anteroapical angle widely arcuate, apical margin arcuate, posteroapical angle angulately rounded. Stem Sc+R+CuA short, stems Sc+R and CuA arcuately diverging at fork. Stem Sc+R forked at half of fore wing length, branch R1 reaching margin, branches Rs and CuA subparallel in their apical portions, not reaching margin. Clavus distinct, with its apex at about 0.6 of fore wing length; postclaval margin straight.
wing more than twice as long as wide, distinctly wider in apical portion; all margins covered with asetose minute tubercles; costal margin straight, anteroapical angle widely angulate, apical margin nearly straight, posteroapical angle widely rounded. Stems Sc+R and CuA separated at base, stem Sc+R forked in distal half of hind wing, branch R1 not reaching anterior margin, branch Rs not reaching anterior margin, stem CuA straight, diverging apicad from stem Sc+R and Rs, not reaching apical margin. Paronychium of hind leg short, lingulate.
tibia with only 4 setae, tarsomeres with a few setae. Abdomen with pregenital segments II-VIII of similar length, segment IX (pygofer) slightly wider than long in mid line; operculum triangular, wide, with rounded apex, about twice as wide as long in mid line, lingula not visible. Aedeagus rod-like, with slightly bulbous base, with apex exceeding half of length of claspers. Claspers placed laterally, elongate, slightly widened at base, lateral margins arcuate; with distinct triangular teeth at half of their length directed medially; claspers not crossed at apex; apical portions tapering, with apices roundly pointed.
