Male: frons in anterior part flat, in posterior part with transverse impression sharply demarcated from convex vertex; pronotum with nearly evenly arcuate ante-basal transverse groove with distinct median pit; elytra modified, each with strongly impressed apical region slightly protruding caudad; aedeagus in ventral view with distinctly asymmetrical apex of median lobe, long and flat apical projections and rounded apices of parameres each bearing three thick and long setae. Female: antennomere XI barely longer than wide; antennomeres IIIX as long as broad or slightly transverse; frons between antennal insertions with flat substriangular area sharply delimited from convex posterior part of head.
