Female: Same as male except rostrum as long as head; rostral apex slightly wider than frons; antennal club distinctly shorter than funicle; and basal and middle club segments subequal.

). The setosity is especially abundant on the legs and distinctly whitish on the scutellum and thoracic pleura. The pedon is bladelike with a bluntly rounded apical tip and the TA is short and wide with two curved forcepslike distal projections (

). This species has been taken in Malaise traps in old growth and secondary growth forest. A single male was collected at black light and single males were taken fogging
