Autozooids oval, flat, the frontal membrane underlain by a granular cryptocyst, with an extensive oval opesia. Ovicell immersed, its aperture separate from the aperture of the maternal zooid, but its cavity only partly divided from that of the zooid. Vicarious avicularia and kenozooids present, the latter variable in size and shape. Vertical walls of zooids with large multiporous septula.</paragraph>
