Adult (Fig. 82). Wingspan 10.0̄14.0 mm. Head silvery white. Labial palpus silvery white, segment II fuscous dorso-distally, hair pencil reaching distal end of segment II in male; segment III fuscous, slender and nearly as long as segment II, pointed at apex. Antenna with scape white, fuscous distally on posterior margin; flagellum black except dorsal 2/3 white, male cilia slightly longer than width. Thorax silvery white, yellow or fuscous posteriorly. Tegula silvery white, suffused with yellow and fuscous anteriorly and posteriorly. Forewing with hair pencil reaching basal 2/

(Figs 63, 103). Uncus spatulate, with medial groove ventrally, bearing sparse hairs at base and apex. Culcitula present. Gnathos hook slender and long, curving upward, sharply pointed at apex. Tegumen three times longer than uncus, medial process sclerotized, thicker than gnathos hook, curved upward, serrate entirely; behind process set with tubercles bilaterally, each tubercle rounded, bearing a long hair at apex (Fig. 63). Valva straight, distal half setose and gradually narrowing toward blunt apex. Anellus lobe 1/2 length of valva, bulged basally, curved inward, gradually narrowing toward apex, sharply pointed at apex; subapical bristle hooked, 1/5 length of anellus lobe. Vinculum simple, posterior margin nearly straight. Saccus moderately slender, slightly shorter than anellus lobe, rounded at apex. Juxta with a pair of triangular processes, bearing sparse hairs along outer margin. Aedeagus with basal 1/3 dilated, distal 2/3 slender and straight; interior sclerite slightly exceeding apex.

Tergum VIII divided into two sclerites, their inner margins nealy meeting at middle; sternum VIII broadly concave on posterior margin, distinctly wrinkled in anterior half, with a pair of bumps on anterior margin laterally. Ostium bursae small, opening at anterior 1/4 of sternum VIII. Ductus bursae narrow, as long as corpus bursae; ductus seminalis arising from middle. Corpus bursae oval, with microtrichia posteriorly; signum at posterior 1/3, with a conical process.

The male genitalia are characterized by the spatulate uncus, the slender and acute anellus lobe, and the paired triangular process of juxta; and the female genitalia are characterized by the paired bumps on the anterior margin of the sternum VIII and the signum with a conical process. These characters make the new species separable from its allies.
