The male of this species has strongly modified hind legs and yellow areas on clypeus and on the lower paraocular area. The female has the tibial scopa with yellow pilosity and some plumose and simple hairs intermixed. The metasoma has distal bands of white and branched pilosity from T2 to T5. T1 has the same pilosity, but only at the sides of the tergum. T6 completely covered with white pilosity.

. These two areas have experienced an explosive development in the last 50 years, which probably affected the diversity of bees in these two sectors. Despite having reviewed several bee collections in

and of having carried out a number of collections in areas where there are records of this species, this bee has not been collected again.
