; MW 2.7–3.0 mm. Rounded-oval, rather convex. Angle between pronotum and elytra visible or poorly marked. Colouration yellow or reddish-yellow, with widely extended dark pattern on head, pronotum and elytra.

<paragraph id="8BA536EBFA2DFFA2D5A1FC38FC6DE72D" blockId="37.[151,1436,801,1756]" pageId="37" pageNumber="38">Head brownish with a paler central spot on vertex. Antennae testaceous, with articles 7–11 darkened apically. Mouthparts reddish. Last article of maxillary palpi blackish.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BA536EBFA2DFFA2D5A1FBEAFA2AE7B7" blockId="37.[151,1436,801,1756]" pageId="37" pageNumber="38">Pronotum wide, with maximum width near the base. Base of pronotum often a bit wider than elytra. Lateral sides more or less regularly rounded, bordered. Posterior angles rounded. Dorsal surface rough due to the presence of a dense and impressed punctuation together with larger punctures, scattered and strongly impressed, concentrated mostly on anterior and posterior borders; surface covered by longitudinal wrinkles.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BA536EBFA2DFFA2D5A1FB10FDFDE63A" blockId="37.[151,1436,801,1756]" pageId="37" pageNumber="38">Elytra oval. Maximum width just behind the middle of the length. Sides poorly rounded in basal half. Longitudinal rows of punctures visible, except for the lateral rows which are often obsolete. Subapical denticle poorly developed but visible.</paragraph>

Colouration black, prosternal process, metacoxal process, prothoracic pleura and proepisterna reddish. Epipleuron testaceous.</paragraph>
