Body oval. Vertex quadrangular, distinctly wider than long, disc depressed, with anterior margin slightly arcuately convex or nearly straight, posterior margin obtusely concave. Frons long, the width near clypeus slightly narrower than upper margin; the upper margin quite arcuately or slightly concave, disc slightly elevated or flat, lateral margins distinctly elevated, median carina present. Frontoclypeal suture obtusely angulate. Clypeus triangulate, elevated medianly. Pronotum with anterior margin obtusely convex and posterior margin nearly straight, median carina clear or subobsolete. Mesonotum more or less triangular, with inverted “V or Y” carina at middle. Tegmen with distinct longitudinal and transverse veins, claval suture present, Sc and R forked near base, Sc branched, R vein single, M veins bifurcated, Cu not forked. Wing rudimentary.
