. Male. Integument mostly orangish. Antennae black, segments from 6 yellowish at base. Forelegs yellowish; intermediate and hind legs black to brownish with femora peduncles yellowish. Urosternites black to brown.

<paragraph id="8BCCC8737201B050FF34FF24FBEAFF5E" blockId="4.[151,1437,152,1763]" pageId="4" pageNumber="63">Head glabrous. Frons and vertex opaque, with moderately deep, irregularly sparse punctures, denser on vertex. Clypeus shiny, sparsely punctate. Genae finely, shallowly punctate.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BCCC8737201B050FF34FF59FEA2FEF5" blockId="4.[151,1437,152,1763]" pageId="4" pageNumber="63">Antennal scape somewhat inflated dorsally, with shallow, fine, sparse punctures. Segments from 3 opaque, microcorrugate, with very short, inconspicuous pubescence, 35 sparsely setose beneath. Segment 3 as long as 5, barely longer than each the scape and segment 4; 68 equal in length and slightly longer than 3; 11 as long as 3.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BCCC8737201B050FF34FE3CFEB1FDDD" blockId="4.[151,1437,152,1763]" pageId="4" pageNumber="63">Prothorax conspicuously narrowed to apical third from middle, particularly from middle to base, subtuberculate on each side just behind middle. Pronotum and sides of prothorax strongly opaque, glabrous, coarsely, very shallowly reticulate-punctate. Median callosity of pronotum, narrow, more or less acute; laterobasal gibbosities more or less prominent. Basal 2/3 of prosternum subopaque, glabrous, with shallow, dense, moderately coarse punctures. Metasternum and urosternites subopaque, glabrous, impunctate; fifth urosternite truncate at apex.</paragraph>
<paragraph id="8BCCC8737201B050FF34FDD4FCBFFCC5" blockId="4.[151,1437,152,1763]" pageId="4" pageNumber="63">Elytra slightly sinuous at middle. Punctation more or less aligned in rows at middle third; base and apical third with finer, irregularly spaced punctures. Lateral costa above epipleura extending from behind humeri to apical third. Epipleura strongly impressed, with single row of coarse, deep, subcontiguous punctures at middle third; base smooth, impunctate; apical third with finer, irregularly spaced punctures. Outer margin with few, nearly inconspicuous setae at apex, without asperities. Elytral apices transversely truncate, bispinose; outer spine as long as antennal pedicel, sutural spine little shorter.</paragraph>

Antennae unicolorous, black to brownish, reaching apical third of elytra; segments 610 shortened, equal in length, 711 somewhat swollen; 11 shorter than 3. Metafemora not reaching elytral apex. Urosternites orangish; fifth urosternite longer than in male, slightly rounded at apex.</paragraph>

The prothorax is less narrowed at sides. The punctures of the elytra are not aligned; the elytral apices are obliquely truncate with a short spine at the outer angle and unarmed at suture; the lateral costa extends from middle to apical third; the epipleura are densely punctate throughout, and the outer margin has short setae and weak asperities at apex.
