is easily recognizable due to the deep red color of living polyps, the prominent hypostome, and the long, filiform tentacles arranged in 2–3 closely-set whorls. The 4 gastrozooids in my material have 17, 18, 20, and 23 tentacles, respectively. The 3 gonozooids are provided with 1, 2, and 4 tentacles, respectively; no gonophores were developed on these polyps. The nematocysts were not examined.
