Stygobromus foliatus is more widely distributed and recorded from multiple locations on opposite sides of the Potomac River in Charles and S. Mary’s counties in Maryland, and Caroline, Westmoreland and King & Queen counties in Virginia. Several closely spaced localities in Caroline County are indicated by a single symbol.
